Marsh’s Free Museum

For .25 cents there is a chair at Marsh’s Free Museum that can tell you all you want to know about your “Love Life”

The Long Beach Peninsula, in Washington State, claims the title of “The World’s Longest Beach.” The shore stretches 28 miles along the Pacific Ocean, and as you might guess, the lively hood of the area is based on the tourist industry. All the communities, from Seaview at the South end of the beach to Oysterville at the North end, with the towns and villages of Long Beach, Ocean Park, and Nahcotta between, serve and survive by delivering the goods and needs to the visitors that come to their area searching for some fun, good food, and of course that most unique souvenir.

There are many “tourist” stores on the peninsula to stop and shop. Are they Tourist Traps? I guess that’s a matter of opinion, but having said that, one of our favorite stops in Long Beach is Marsh’s Free Museum. As you can see from the pictures above, they’re there for one reason…. to sell you that most unique souvenir and, of course, with their coin operated Love Machine, Strength Machine…etc…for you and your family to have some laughs while enjoying their store. Is Marsh’s a Tourist Trap? Well, every time we visit the area, we always stop by Marsh’s Free Museum to see what “new” coin operated gizmos they have added and, of course, to buy one of their “unique” souvenirs. Enjoy the Journey.
