Jackson House 1845-2020

This is the site and home John and Matilda Jackson established between 1842 and 1845. One of the first Oregon Trail settlers north of the Columbia River when Washington State was still part of the Oregon Territory. John took on many roles in the region as it developed one of which was a Probate Judge, which lead to their home becoming a Territorial Court House.

The Jackson House sometime after the 1st restoration.
This is the Jackson House as stands today in 2022. A third restoration was completed in 2015.
